Slow Run, Take it easy

I took 2 days off to rest my knee and today was my first attempt running again. I forced myself to run slower than I've ever run and only ran 2 miles. So far my knee is feeling good so I will try another easy run either tomorrow or Monday. Oh and I got new shoes today which feel much better than my previous ones:

Yay, I hope the knee solution is something as simple as the new shoes. I have had more than a couple of injuries that were fixed through relatively simple solutions since I started running 2.5 years ago. Of course, it seems I never get that easy fix on the first try.
